The BeDillon family has been a part of Casa Grande since the late 1940's
While growing up I spent my summers living at BeDillon's Cactus Garden
My parents moved back to Casa Grande in 1984 allowing me to graduate from the original CGUHS
As a single parent I raised four daughters moving between Casa Grande, Denver, Chicago and Phoenix before settling back in Casa Grande in 2009
I have worked for Kiewit Infrastructure for the past 22 years. Currently I am an estimating manager responsible for pricing proposals ranging from $1 million to $1 billion in the transportation, water, and power markets.
I spent 2 years living in Western Australia as a construction manager on one of the top 10 largest construction projects in the world
I married my beautiful wife, Kelsie Pate, in 2016. We both love to scuba dive and go as often as we can
I have served on the Casa Grande Board of Adjustment since 2019
I believe that Casa Grande should focus on being the best city, not the biggest. We need to be smart about our rapid growth. I have seen other cities that have grown too fast and had to make sacrifices they were not prepared for.
The city needs to continue to be fiscally responsible while balancing the needs of the community.
I want to protect the history of Casa Grande. Our historic downtown area is vital to who we are as a community.
I believe that we can keep the small town feel if we make it a focus point. Strong community engagement is critical to be successful.
My 22 years in the construction industry has given me a strong understanding of issues surrounding our transportation and water/wastewater needs. I have worked with municipalities in the Phoenix area with budgets and projects in these markets and understand the financial impacts.
In my role as a construction manager I am constantly planning work months in advance. Part of that planning process includes contingency planning. Things don’t always work out the way we want and we have to have contingency plans ready to go to be able to adjust quickly and avoid negative impacts. .
